There are some moments in life when you actually feel that your childhood (probably not the right word) has come to an end. When you feel you cant behave like a brat and expect people to say- oh she’s just a kid. Being the youngest in my family and also at my work place, I never thought of myself as a grown up. Even when I started earning. Yesterday I met one of my closest friends & childhood playmate. She’s getting married and leaving the country in a few days . I knew it all along but when I said bye to her yesterday , it finally sunk into me that everything is changing. The house where we spent countless days playing choppu and other invented games is going to belong to someone else soon. God, I’l never forget those days. And it’s horrible to know it’l never come back.

hehe no prob. This post made me run to orkut and start searching for my kindergarden buddies.. literally :)
Yeah...those child hood times are so tender and something that will never escape from my memory...it shall always be treasured n visited frequently n spoken about and smiled at in a warm tone...Things do evolve and we have to go the cycle...Take the best, let it sink in and you will slowly be floating on a leaf....:)

the innocense of those good days is what i miss...
Da Rodent said…
@sush: Hmm., that innocense promised no heartbreaks, no loneliness., nothing.. You were just so happy with yer silly wooden dolls, and matchbox cars., and life was never painful.. Grr., suddenly growing up has become such a pain in the ___..

Looking back always looks good and funny. But nothing can replace the childhood days. Two things I cherish are my childhood days(filled with looty) and days in hostel.

Nice blog, Mez first time here.
