Nice things I did this week- Had a long, warm conversation with a friend who made me realise quite a few things which I had overlooked/ taken for granted. Went for a long drive with my best buddy- both of us singing all the way. Watched a silly sweet movie and laughed at every silly joke! Bought an expensive white shirt and wore it the very next day and pretended not to be pleased with the compliments :p
Two posts in one day is completely unheard of- atleast from me. But I have this strong urge to write tonight. Its 23.00 hours and I'm dead tired. Seems like people around me are getting increasingly annoying. I don know how to react to them. Close ones are changing. Have a strong urge to beat up certain people. Maybe I should get a punching bag one of these days. I wonder if that will actually help me vent out anger. And I'm not really sure what I'm angry about. I could sit and analyse things but I've done it so many times that I know the answer to that one. Like Chandler says- "Oh dont open that box"!
Watched "The Wonder Years" after 15 years last night. I consider it one of the best ever series on television. Do any of you remember watching it?
Has the sight of a tiger ever moved you to tears? Or the sight of a peacock? Well it happened to me today. A visit to one of the biggest zoos in the country turned out to be a sad visit, atleast for me. Dirty cages, malnourished animals, unruly public.. It looked so sad. The idea of a zoo by itself is cruel. And to think that the animals are not well fed there is very very sad. Its a shame actually. The magnificient tigers and lions were lying down like unused sacks. Monkeys were begging the passers-by for food. Little kids were hitting deers, birds and rhinos through the bars. Where the f*** are the zoo authorities? Is this the way to treat animals? With such a vast area and innumerable funds available, I wonder why this is happening?
Ah this would be my first post from my notebook. One of the very few nice things that has hpnd to me lately. I'm actually not cribbing coz I know it could be worse. Am jus wondering if I've grown up to deal up with situations so well or wat. Sometimes denial helps. But people say thats the worst way of dealing with things. But I can tell you that it helps at times. Jus not think about wat hpnd. Eventually you are bound to put it at the little book in the back of your mind. It crops up now and then to give you fresh shivers of forgotten pain. But thats ok. Better than a constant headache. Ok back to happy things. New responsibilities at office which I'm loving. Niece is showering us with her new found vocabulary which pleases us to no end. A nice long vacation this month end to one of my most fav places on earth. LAst but nt the least- A surprise treasure!!! This post is dedicated to a very sweet friend who has undergone some bad things lately. Things will dfntly look up soo...
Why does it happen that most of things we look forward to so much never turn out to be as much fun as we thought they would? And why is it vice versa all the time? Do expectations reach that great heights that they become impossible to meet? Btw, made my first foreign trip last week. Went to Penang and KL. Had a blast at the beach. Tried my hand at para-sailing, jet- skiing and the banana boat. Shopping at Kl was so confusing. I mean, I was so confused by the variety of things available that i ended up buying very little. But got my note book!!!!! An Acer Aspire 4720. A long cherished dream finally come true. And also a digital camera :-) I know the 2 paras contradict each other. But I assure u that they are totally unrelated.
